Understanding Your Care Costs & Coverage
Jamia Healthcare is committed to delivering the highest quality in-home-care at competitive prices tailored to meet your specific needs. On the 1 st November 2025 in line with the Government’s new Support at Home Program, which replaces the Home Care Package Program, services will be grouped into 3 categories
Key Changes relate to Care Management and package Management Administration Fees as of 1 st November 2025.
- You will continue to pay a Care Management Fee; however it is now capped at 10% of your Support at Home Program budget and is automatically applied by Services Australia
- You will no longer be charged separately for package management. These costs are now incorporated into the cost of each service you use.

How Your Care is Categorised
Funded services are grouped into three areas:
- Clinical Supports – Nursing, physiotherapy, occupational Therapy
- Independence- Personal Care, Social Support, Respite, Community Engagement, transport
- Everyday Living – Domestic Assistance, Home Maintenance, Repairs, Meals
Support at Home Classifications
The program includes 8 ongoing classifications, each with increasing levels of funding to meet different care needs.
Funding is effective from 1 st November 2025 and is reviewed twice yearly.

Accessing Extra Support & Care Management
Extra Help and Funding
Beyond your standard at home allocation, extra funding may be available for:
- Assistive Technology and Home Modifications
- Restorative care to maintain independence
- End-Of-Life care for comfort at home.
Your Care Manager will help you apply for and access these funds when needed
Short Term Care Options
- Restorative Dare pathway – Focused support to regain or maintain independence
- Approx- $6000 for 6 weeks, may increase to $12,000 if eligible
- End-Of-Life pathway = Extra care and comfort at home for those with 3 months or less to live
- Approximately $25,500 for 12 weeks
- Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT + HM) – Funding for equipment and home alterations
– Low $500 (12 months)
– Medium $2000 (12 months)
– High* $15000 (12 months)
*Higher amounts may be approved with a prescription.
Care Management
Care management is an important service that includes coordinating care and services that will help you deliver on the goals you identified in your care and services plan. Every participant will require some level of care management.

The price list above relates to supports provided by Warrina Home Care. In instances where the individual has a
particular request or needs for services outside this list, a difference price may be negotiated. In these instances we
will:
- Negotiate and agree on the price with the individual
- Outline the difference in price and why it is different in the service agreement and individualised budget
- Include the pricing schedule as published in the service agreement
